How Tinker's Rule is funded

Tinker's Rule earns revenue through affiliate partnerships. When you click a link on this site to a partner’s product page and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you reach the product through our link or directly through the merchant.

Affiliate commissions are how we keep the lights on, but they don’t decide what we cover. We only feature products we’d actually consider for our own households, and we surface tradeoffs honestly when we know them.

Per the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255), we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously on every page that contains an affiliate link. If you ever notice a link that’s missing a disclosure, let us know and we’ll fix it.
